Shaykh Zillani Miah is an educator of many disciplines. He has a MA in Islamic Studies(London, SOAS), Post Graduate Diploma in Adult Literacy (London, UCL Institute of Education). He also has a BA in English and Arabic from University of Westminster and holds two diplomas in Arabic language: one from the Institut Européen des Sciences, France and the other from Damascus, Syria. As part of his formal Islamic training; he completed a four year Islamic law programme from the prestigious Islamic Law College, Institute of Al-Fath in Damascus, Syria. This was an intensive course in which he studied in detail many texts both classical and contemporary. His private tuition with notable scholars from Damascus included several classical texts in various Islamic disciplines.
