Sheikh Wasim Kempson was born and raised in London U.K he accepted islam in 1994 then three years later he went on to study at Madinah University. He went on to study at the Islamic University of Madinah for seven years, during which he completed a Diploma in Arabic Language followed by a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Shariah and Master of Arts in Islamic Law. He was awarded the prestigious British Imams and Scholars Contributions and Achievements Awards (BISCA 2015) for outstanding contribution to Da’wah.
