Shaykh Hassan Rabbani  was born and raised in Glasgow. After his initial studies at Jamia-Al-Karam he completed his B.A at Al-Azhar University. He completed his M.A from the University of Aberdeen in Islamic Studies and then graduated from the University of Glasgow with an M.A in Philosophy. He also spent a year at the Cambridge Muslim College. He is currently the Muslim Chaplain at Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh) and an Imam at the Zia-Ul-Quran Mosque in Glasgow. He also serves as a religious consultant to many mosques and organisations in Scotland.
