Dr Musharraf is the chief executive of the Karimia institute Nottingham and a trustee of Muslim Hands, an emergency and relief work charity and the chief editor of ‘The invitation’ a Muslim community magazine. Dr Musharraf has a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences, after twelve years as a scientist he decided to dedicate himself to serving his country and developing Muslim communities in UK. He graduated from the prestigious al Azhar University, Egypt.
For the past thirty years he has been studying, teaching and writing. He has written twenty books about traditional Islamic teachings to help Muslims practice their religion and more than three hundred essays. He has recently translated the Qur’an called, ”The Majestic Quran”, hailed as ‘paradigm shift in the genre of Quran translation’.
